Anyone seen the ABC premiere of LOST last week? They tried to make it sooo mysterious and all, and even though I hate it when shows do that, I’m oddly drawn to it. Heck I even joined the online LOST Fan Forum! Part 2 will be aired tonight, so do check it out!

In 5 years, that is. Seems like Conan is HOT PROPERTY right now, and many other stations are wooing him, so this might be NBC’s strategic move to make sure he stays put for the next few years? hmmm ….
Ever since Charlotte came into our lives, our carpet is no longer clean anymore. If you observe closely, you will see spots of whatever she’s left on it. Dang. So last weekend we went to Fry’s and got a Hoover SteamVac. Since Clover’s in danger of breahing in toxic fumes, I couldn’t use their cleaning solution. Instead I used baking soda, which, I read, was useful as a non-toxic way of cleaning the house. Anyway, long story short, the SteamVac didn’t do much good in getting rid of the stains, but at least it FELT cleaner.
Boy I’m sure glad its Friday and the weekend is almost here. This past week has been going really slow, I don’t know why. Is it just me, or do you wake up a little later every morning, coz its so damn cold? My God, I have icy feet every morning!
I need to sign Charlotte up for puppy classes within the next few weeks. Have been looking at Stacy’s Wag N Train and that seems pretty good, but I just hate to go downtown San Jose. The other option is Petsmart in Milpitas. I’ll check that out as well.
Peaco, my co-worker’s lovebird, is here today at the office. He’s so tame compared to Clover, who is a BRAT. Ahh … sweet little Peaco!

I woke up today … freezing! It was really chilly this morning, at around 8am, as Charlotte and I headed down for her breakfast. Clover was already awake, and we said Good morning to him. Then, something happened that hasn’t happened around these parts for quite some time now - it rained. I guess Fall is officially here. *brrrrrrr*
I brought Charlotte to work with me today. My boss has just got a Yorkie pup that she brings to work too, and today Charlotte and Molly the Yorkie got to meet for the first time. They were apprehensive at first, of each other, Charlotte was shaking a little as Molly poked her wet doggy nose for a closer sniff. After about 5 minutes, you could see that they kind of warmed up to each other, and Charlotte was reciprocating Molly’s advances by moving forward and sniffing her as well. Before you know it, both of them were jumping, chasing, rough-housing with each other like best of pals. It was so fun to watch them go at each other playfully, and even though Molly’s a little bigger than Charlotte, Charlotte was more sturdy and muscular, so it worked out great. Charlotte still has more growing to do, so sooner or later she’ll out-grow Molly!
We took a lunch break and had a puppy playing session at the park in downtown San Carlos. This was Charlotte’s first official “walk”, and she did great. She’s such a greedy pig though, picking up anything she could from the floor and putting it into her mouth! Bad Charlotte!

I got a thought - since Google is competing with Yahoo in providing community-based tools, is it only a matter of time that they would come up with their very own brand of Google Messenger? That is highly possible, don’t you think? Now, the question is, what would they call it?
Here are my suggestions:
1) Google Messenger (the one that makes you go DUH!)
2) Gmessenger
3) GEM (Google Empowered Messenger)
4) Googster
I have an RSS news reader, and I subscribe to the Pets listings on Craigslist. It used to be a pretty decent place where one goes to find pets, or to post for sale ads. But lately people have been abusing this free service by using it for correspondence rather than one-way listings. Not that I’m irritated or anything, well, any free service, if not monitored regularly, will surely fall prey to rowdiness, people are like that, I guess. Anyway, its kind of fun to read what people write to each other on these posts, most of them nasty, flame wars back and forth. Bring out the popcorn, I say … ![]()
Ohhh … last night was one of the best Catie concerts I’ve been to! Catie played at the Freight and Salvage up in Berkeley, and my hubby, though at first, couldn’t make it because of work, managed to take time off his busy schedule to join me at the Freight. We love you Catie!

Yep, those who know me will know that its a matter of time that Charlotte will get a site of her own. Well, wait no more, here is Little Charlotte.
I just listened to “Leaving New York”, from REM’s upcoming album, Around the Sun. All I can say is … WOW. Be sure to check out their free download album sampler at iTMS. This album is going to rock! I can’t wait to get it when it comes out Oct 5th.
I forgot how tiring it was to look after a young puppy. Every single minute, Charlotte’s seeking attention. Good thing she sleeps most of the time, so at least we can do some other stuff. She whines a lot, as opposed to barking. We have a playpen area to put her in when we go out, and last Sunday when we had friends over for BBQ, she was put in there for safety, and she started to whine, bark, howl, and combinations of all of those. She could even make the sound of a baby crying!
We love her a lot, even though it has been just 3 days. She sleeps with us on our bed, and I’d like to think her favorite spot is right under my neck. I kinda like it when she sleeps that way
.
Charlotte will be by herself today, for the longest time since we have her, so I hope she’s up to it, and doesn’t make too much noise. Well she’s gotta learn not to be too dependent.

Charlotte is completely spoiled! All she wants to do is to be by our side, and do what we do! She thinks she’s human!
