I just preordered my U2 iPod. Now comes the frustrating part - it ships mid-November!

So how’s Friday so far? I’m excited coz this weekend I’m going to hook up my car with a new car stereo. This will be the first of my wishlist of mods I’d want to do for my little red car. Gotta take its slow, mods don’t come cheap!

Oh did I tell you we bought an Elliptical a couple days ago? I guess we were feeling fat after watching The Biggest Loser. I’m really lazy. Last weekend I got a pack of salad veggies and some salad dressing. On Monday, I was really good in eating a little bit of it. But now that pack is just sitting in the fridge. I hate salad … sigh.

Last night we had a power outage in our neighborhood. I just sat there with Charlotte, in the darkness, not knowing what to do, as I waited for Doug to come home. We ended up eating out, and luckily the power came back on after about 2 hours. You know, after last night’s episode, I realized there’s absolutely nothing you can do when power goes out. No TV, no computer, NOTHIN. Good thing there was life left in my cellphone so I surfed mMode, but that was just boring.

between the regular 40GB iPod, the U2 iPod (20GB) or the iPod Photo (40GB). Is the price of Black worth the extra 50 bucks? Being a U2 fan, I’m kinda leaning towards the limited edition Black U2 iPod …

HELP!

I’m sure most of you Mac Freaks (like me) already know that the Apple Store is down … rumors say that it might be a black U2 ipod. All I can say is … whew, good thing I didn’t order my iPod last night! Now, we just site and wait …

We’ve been sorta neglecting our backyard for pretty much the whole of summer, and today, after a week of rain, we decided to start our Fall gardening. I bought a few wildflower seeds, removed most of the weeds, and planted those seeds. Doug mowed the lawn, and we cleared most of the rubbish near our tool shed. I hope those seeds grow …

Yesterday we got a spoiler added to my new RSX, and also ordered an Alpine sound system. Soon I’ll be able to integrate the ipod to my car. Now I just gotta get the new iPod. The one I have is a 2nd generation iPod and it will not work with this Apline iPod Interface. Sigh … I’m trying to decide whether to get the 20GB or 40GB?

Hey people, how’s the Friday working out so far? For me, traffic was fine this morning. It usually is on Fridays, maybe most people here work 4-day weeks! Those lucky bastards. Anyway, Clover turned 8 months 2 days ago (20th). He’s my little Prince Charming. Charlotte is about 3 and a half now, and she grows a little every day. I already miss her puppy face, but she’s still very pretty. I’ve also been talking about getting her a buddy for the longest time, but yea, we will wait till next year. My breed wish list is 1) Papillon, 2) Boston Terrier, 3) Schipperke. Still haven’t made up my mind. Any suggestions welcome! Her buddy will have to be about the same size as she is (10 lbs max).

That’s all I can say about this morning’s commute. It may be considered moderate rain in other parts of the world, but here in California, we don’t see much rain, so today’s probably one of those days where you can expect A LOT of problems on the road. Just this morning there has been news on propane gas leaking on the freeway!

I actually wanted to bring both Clover and Charlotte to work today, but Clover, for some reason, didn’t want to come. Don’t ask me how I know. hehe. Anyway, you all be safe out there!

I washed my car on Saturday morning. Good thing there was a covered parking spot available, coz on Sunday morning, I was woken up by the pitter pattering of rain falling on the roof. Summer’s officially over I guess.

We sneaked Charlotte together with us into Target in Cupertino, and was “warned” by the cashier to not bring “THE DOG” in the next time. Poor Charlotte, I don’t think she’ll do well being alone in the car. She’s such a whiner and a spoiled brat. :D I know I know, I’m the one who made her that way, but hey, cute pretty faces DO get you places. hehhe …

And the other portable audio players can just die … MWAAAHHAHHA! Long live the iPod!

I’d pick M&M’s, without da nuts. It’s what I’m munching on right now as I wait for The Apprentice to come on.

Gosh, I’ve not been writing my blog for the longest time. Lots of things have happened, first of all, Charlotte has been going with me to my workplace more days now, and both she and Molly loves each other’s company. Molly feels sad when Charlotte doesn’t come to work. I’ve been toying with the idea of bringing BOTH Clover and Charlotte together, but I only got two hands ya know … but we’ll see, I might just try it out to see if it works.

Charlotte’s going for her first class in about a month, and I’m excited to start training her. I’ve been teaching her the “sit”, which she does PERFECTLY when there’s treats involved, and the “down”, which is quite difficult since her lil’ butt will just spring right up when I try to move her front legs down. She seems to understand “stay”, but its not very consistent. She’s getting bigger too, her most recent weight is 4lbs 1oz. Big girl now.

Yesterday, I was trying to get Charlotte and Clover to be pals, and put Charlotte’s paw on Clover’s tail. Big mistake, Clover turned a complete 180 degrees and nipped Charlotte in the nose! Charlotte let out the most pitiful YELP a puppy could yelp. Poor girl, all my fault. Sigh, that’s Clover for you, he’s super opinionated, chooses who he wants to be pals with selectively, and doesn’t tolerate their monkeying around. heh …

So as you can see, my two babies are taking up most of my time these days, but they are just super. Now if only they could get along …

So we had a nice dinner at that Korean BBQ buffet place in Santa Clara for my birthday. I like Japanese and Korean food. :)

What can I say, ever since I put Charlotte’s profile in there, the number of times I’ve been visiting the site just to see those cute little doggies is bordering on perverse. I would always go to the Advanced Search, choose the breed I would like to see, and check out all the dogs in California. Argh! I can’t stop now! Dogster has taken over my life!

In my search for reality TV sites, I stumbled upon Television Without Pity. Looks like a nice place to discuss Television Shows, not just reality TV.
