In my search for icons for my desktop, I stumbled across a set of Tamagotchi icons. Weren’t these like a fad 10 years ago? I used to have one, I think it was a yellow one. That was pretty fun. So I googled for Tamagotchi and discovered that they were re-launched last year! Wow, imagine my excitement. Another piece of childhood revived. They even have an official site tamagotchi.com, a really cute site.

So last night, I went to Toys R Us, and got myself one! Yea I’m childish like that. Oh well, my first digi-pet in a long time is named “Grini”, which sounds like “Greenie” if you know what I mean. ;)

Seems like this time Tamagotchi can make love connections and have kids!

I found these pictures of Charlotte taken by the breeder when she was just a little baby. So cute!

Here she was at 3 weeks old.

Here she was at 7 weeks old.

It’s ridiculous how the Palm Desktop for Mac doesn’t have the conduit for the Expense App, but after a little googling I found this site that has quite a number of third party conduits for Mac and Palm OS, and yes I found an Expense one. Just downloaded it and syncing on my powerbook. It backs up your expenses into either a comma delimited, a tab delimted or an excel file. You can’t edit your expenses on your Mac though, but its still useful for me. Try this conduit for yourself at Queuesoft’s Homepage.

Yep I need one. I’m getting sick of my mouse (wired) that I’m currently with my PB. The one by Bluetake seems pretty good - BT-500. And only like $54 bucks, not too bad.

I think I’m going to get an iPod for my Dad. At first I wanted to get the new iPod Shuffle for him, but my co-worker convinced me that the iPod mini is more value for money. I concur. Having a display might be less confusing for my Dad. Hmm, now to choose a color - I’m torn between Blue or Silver, but I’m leaning more towards Blue.

That’s what I call him - our very own Opossum. Just 15 minutes ago I let Charlotte out for her potty break. We were watching “Coffee and Cigarettes”, and suddenly, Charlotte was barking. The weird thing is that she had run back into the house and started to bark, something she hasn’t done before. I looked out and there it was - Opie. :) Turns out Opie has a place where he “comes back to” - our tree. All he wanted was a quiet place to sleep and spend the night.

And so this is the story of Opie. I can see his little tail poking out of the leaves. How cute. Goodnight Opie, Our Opie. ;)

I’ve been coughing like a crazy horse the whole day today. I feel weak and I just wanna sleep. Damn, I hate it when I’m sick. I just can’t get anything done. I did manage to wash my car though. Tomorrow I’ll be washing Doug’s car, hopefully I’ll have the strength to do that. It’s been chilly all week here. Latest weather check is 44 degrees. Dang that’s cold.

I called in sick today. First time ever. My throat hurt, my head hurt, so I think I really do need to relax a little. Spent the whole day not doing much - chillin’, hanging out with da Cloves and da Char. I could see from their looking at me that they were finding it odd that Mom was home during the day. Took Char for a walk at around 4 pm around the neighborhood. There are some nice houses here. And I even saw someone with a TL parked outside. Wassup fellow TL’er. :) It’s amazing how a day passes by so fast. The weather today was fantastic. After weeks of rain, its good to see some sun and dry ground. I even thought of washing my car, but then decided not to exert myself. I’m wishing to get that Mac Mini … hopefully in a couple of months time I can get my hands on that baby. Its so cute I can’t stand it! LOL.

Well I’d better go sleep now. Gotta work tomorrow. ttyl.

Might be coz I was shouting my lungs out last night. I have a TERRIBLE sore throat and I think a fever. My limbs feel weak and achy. Sigh … I need some rest. No more TVB series or NFSU2 tonight.

Acurazine, the online forum that I frequent daily has a new site design, with new features as well. I still think they should include an RSX forum in there, but hey, I’m only a member.

So … the rumors were true. Apple announced new additions to the Mac family as well as to the iPod family - Mac Mini & iPod Shuffle. Honestly I would just get the Mac Mini “just because”. The iPod Shuffle … hmm, still can’t get over that it doesn’t have any display. Oh well ….
