Gimme an orange, and put a banana in it

We’ve been in Singapore for a little more than a week now, and I’m beginning to feel bored. When we’re on the road, I spent most of my time staring at cars driving by. It’s interesting to see those cars that aren’t found in the US, like the Toyota Vios, Honda City, Jazz and Fit, as well as Nissan Cefiro, Sunny etc. My RSX is known as the Honda Integra GSR here, and they look really cool. Since I only have dial up right now I can’t upload all the pics I’ve taken, but I will definitely do so when I get access to a broadband connection.

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day, and we decided to spend the day going to the places we usually hung out when we were in Singapore. Lunch was a Han’s at Far East Plaza, and the food, I’ll have to say, tastes about the same. Even the menu hasn’t changed, which was good. Many of the places we frequented weren’t around anymore, places like Petit Monde at Isetan Orchard, or the Japanese Restaurant on the 3rd floor of Takashimaya.

In the evening we drove to the Esplanade and enjoyed the view of the city from the roof terrace. It was beautiful, and romantic too, if you ignore the balmy weather ;) . Being Valentine’s Day, there were many couples on the roof with us. The city skyline was awesome at night, with all the lights and everything.
