Yep just bought my copy from Fry’s this evening. They have an offer until 5/3/05 - $109, limit 1. Cool deal. I’m backing up my folders as I write this and I can’t wait to upgrade!

Today Cayenne finally got what the command “down” means. Hooray! I’m so proud of her! ![]()
I can’t believe how hard it was to get Fisher’s new album, The Lovely Years. I went to Best Buy, and Borders, none of the places have it. I don’t want to get it from iTMS as I prefer it to be CD audio format. Well I’ll just have to wait till this weekend to find again.
Today was a fun day, especially for Charlotte. First, in the morning, we brought her to training class, where she got treats and meet many large breed dogs like GSDs, Goldens and even Mastiffs. She wasn’t a single bit afraid of them, but they were kind of annoyed by her. LOL.
Then after lunch we went to the dog park for the Rat Terrier Playdate. I was so happy that most of the members turned up and got to meet fellow bay area rat terrier owners and their little rats. It was so much fun! I’ll have pics up soon.
Too bad Cayenne couldn’t join us, she only has had two shots so far, so I’m worried about bringing her to a dog park. When we came home we quickly took baths, even Charlotte had a bath, and I washed the clothes, just to be safe.
Charlotte is definitely all poofed out from such a fun day.
The following are two proposed additions to the periodic table of elements (from chemistry class) :
Element name: woman
Symbol: WO
Atomic weight: (don’t even go there)
Physical properties: Generally round in form. Boils at nothing and may freeze at any time. Melts when treated properly. Very bitter if mishandled.
Chemical properties: Very active. Highly unstable. Possesses strong affinity with gold, silver, platinum, and precious stones. Volatile when left alone. Able to absorb great amounts of exotic food. Turns slightly green when placed next to a shinier specimen.
Usage: Highly ornamental. An extremely good catalyst for dispersion of wealth. Probably the most powerful income reducing agent known.
Caution: Highly explosive in inexperienced hands.
==========
Element name: MAN
Symbol: XY
Atomic weight: (180 +/-50)
Physical properties: Solid at room temperature, but gets bent out of shape easily. Fairly dense and sometimes flaky. Difficult to find a pure sample. Due to rust, aging samples are unable to conduct electricity as easily as young samples.
Chemical properties: Attempts to bond with WO any chance it can get. Also tends to form strong bonds with itself. Becomes explosive when mixed with KD (Element: child) for prolonged period of time. Neutralize by saturating with alcohol.
Usage: None known. Possibly good source of methane. Good specimens are able to produce large quantities
on command.
Caution: In the absence of WO, this element rapidly decomposes and begins to smell.
So their happy meals now come with 8 different breeds of dogs and 8 different breeds of cats. We did a drive-through at lunch today, and specifically asked for TheDog collection, but what did they give us? ALL CATS! All 3 Happy Meals we got were cat breeds, the same one too! Argh!
The big news today is that Rome has elected the new Pope - Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger of Germany, who will be called Pope Benedict.

We woke up a little early today and drove up to the city to meet with fellow Acura owners for the Acurazine meet. Our drive includes 280 Freeway, Highway 35, Skyline Blvd, and then stop over in San Mateo for a photoshoot. After that it was lunch at Apex Motorsports in Santa Clara. There were about 100 cars in this meetup, and it was a great experience. I took quite a few pics - Pics I took.

My Check Engine Light for my RSX popped up again yesterday. I waited to see if it would turn off by itself, and sure enough, this morning it disappeared. It seems that everytime after washing my car, the CEL comes on. Still don’t know why it happens. I’m too lazy this time to bring it to the dealer.
I’m still kind of torn between whether to get the new Mac OS X Tiger, when it comes out on April 29th, 2005, or just stick with my Panther. All those new features seem really cool, but might not be necessary.
It’s $129 bucks to upgrade, quite expensive for just an upgrade in so short a time.
We went to Payless Nursery on Saturday and I got a few plants - 2 types of daisies, 1 Tasmanian Fern, 1 Everblooming Gardenia, and Honeysuckle. Doug got some Vegetables like tomato, eggplants and zucchini. We just completed planting them in our backyard. I’m planning to get more alyssums as they look really nice clustered together.
Ok this is my own site, but I’ve just updated it with a Mambo Server CMS, which is quite interesting. It is like phpNuke, but more organized, has a great admin, and hopefully, more secure. The ratlover site used to be for rat lovers, but I’ve revamped it to be a site for rat terrier lovers.
Ever since I got rid of the weeds, the flowers that I’ve planted last year has been growing “like weeds”.
I’m thinking of getting one of these for my two pups. I wonder if they would like it. My husband scoffed at the idea, saying that dogs are supposed to walk by themselves, and not be strolled around. heh.
