Since we haven’t made any plans to get out the Bay Area, I’m trying to find a nice beach to take the pups to. We are thinking of Santa Cruz, but maybe a beach that’s a little quieter than the Boardwalk. Maybe we would just end up in Half Moon Bay. We’ll see.

We ordered a new grill from Sears last weekend, and I hope that we could get it by this weekend so we can do some grillin’!

I was just visiting the Porsche site a few minutes ago, and guess what??? They have a picture of the actual Cayman S! OMG! That thing is a beauty!

Check out the Cayman S Web Special.

We took Charlotte and Cayenne to Ed R Levin. This was Cayenne’s first time at the Dog Park, and she didn’t really know how to react. Charlotte, on the other hand, have been to the Dog Park twice before, and she looked like she was “showing off” to Cayenne. She poked her nose through the gate that separates the small dog area from the big dog area and played with a golden retreiver puppy. Cayenne just looked and didn’t really venture near those big dogs.

Wow, I’m gonna get my hands on this one! “The new machine, set for release in the spring of 2006, is about the same size as the current generation PlayStation 2 but has a more rounded look. Besides black, the PS3 will be available in silver and white.”

I never thought I would say this, but yea, we are officially pregnant! It’s both exciting and scary at the same time. Either way it’ll be an adventure! I’m trying to eat right now, I’m off coffee completely too, which is hard, being a coffee addict I am, but, for the baby. We nicknamed our little fetus “Bobby” until we find out his/her sex and decide on a name. Bobby is now 7 weeks old, the size of a peanut. We did a sonogram last week and caught a glimpse of the little guy, and even saw his/her beating heart! How cute!

Last night, I had that same dream again - I’m driving my dream car like there isn’t a care in the world. It could be any one of these. I don’t care. I’m such a car freak. I look at cars all the time on my drive to and from work. I feel like a pervert looking at porn, with the cars the objects of my desire. I’m sick, I tell ya. Help me!

Cayenne had her very first bath ever since she came to live with us on March 25th, 2005. She wasn’t as fussy as Charlotte is at bathing. I think she’s a much more open-minded ratty than Charlotte is. Charlotte had her bath too, and now they both smell so good!

We were early today, for once! LOL. It was the start of more complex commands, and the trainer introduced us to clicker training. The key is to associate a click with treat, so with that the dog will very quickly associate a specified command to the action based on the clicker/treat. Charlotte had so many treats today (jumbo chicken sausages) that she peed so many times. Weird.

When I stand up for myself and my beliefs, they call me a bitch.

When I stand up for those I love, they call me a bitch.

When I speak my mind, think my own thoughts or do things my own way, they call me a bitch.

Being a bitch means I won’t compromise what’s in my heart. It
means I live my life the way I think is best. It means I won’t allow anyone to step on me.

When I refuse to tolerate injustice and speak against it, I am
defined as a bitch.

The same thing happens when I take time for myself instead of being everyone’s maid, or when I act a little selfish.

It means I have the courage and strength to allow myself to be who I truly am and won’t become anyone else’s idea of what they think I “should” be.

I am outspoken, opinionated and determined. I want what I want and there is nothing wrong with that!

So try to stomp on me, try to douse my inner flame, try to squash every ounce of beauty I hold within me. You won’t succeed.

And if that makes me a bitch, so be it. I embrace the title and am proud to bear it.

Seriously, I’m not the bitchy type, but this is definitely an interesting perspective.

It’s raining pretty heavily today that I decided not to take the pups to work. They wouldn’t get a chance for walkies anyway. This morning potty time for them was painful. Cayenne, as usual, didn’t wait for potty time and pooped in the house. I brought Charlotte out to the backyard, but she just refused to do her business with rain falling down on her. So back into the house where they played a little, then suddenly Charlotte had to go potty. I carried her ALL THE WAY to the backyard, into the rain, and put her down. It took her more than 5 minutes to go potty. Sigh.

I had to be at work today at 8am, and left at 7am, thinking I would have some buffer. But with the rain, traffic was slow, and as I approached the Marsh exit on 101N, traffic came to a dead stop. I knew it had to be an accident, so I exited Marsh, and went on the local roads right to my workplace in San Carlos. I barely made it - 8:01am. whew!

Do you realize that today’s “555″, as in the 5th of May, 2005?

Charlotte, my rat terrier, is attending Graduate Class. Last week we learned how to do a “heel-sit-watch me-heel-sit-stand-watch me-heel-down-watch me-heel” (whew!) combo. Sounds really tough, but I try to break it up into parts. I’ve been practising with her daily, at short intervals, so she kinda associates with the commands. She gets so excited when there are treats, so sometimes she does her stuff too erratically, but I’m so proud of her progress.

I’ve been playing around with all the neat features of Tiger the past two days, and some of them are really cool. I’m particularly interested in Dashboard and Spotlight. Dashboard is Apple’s version of Konfabulator, now I don’t know if they “stole” the idea, but I think in some way or other Apple did get inspiration for Dashboard from the creators of Konfabulator - they are so similar in concept. You run Javascript Apps on your desktop as a layer over your current workspace, and these widgets are supposed to help you do simple stuff, like a clock, weather, a translation tool, dictionary, phone book, just to name a few. What cool is that they are small apps, size-wise, so you can literally put a few widgets on your desktop at any one time and get a snapshot of what’s happening with one push of a button, or a click of the mouse.

I also like Spotlight, which is a tool that searches your desktop at lightning fast speed. I don’t know how they did it, but just type in a word, and boom, any file associated with the word will appear as search results. I read that you can further utilize Spotlight for a few other things, but I gotta read up on that. Apple just released a page for Spolight Tips here.
