Zzzzz
It has been a crazy week. I had to go work early for the past two days, Doug was on a business trip to South California, and yes I’m sleep deprived. I discovered something interesting about my ratties yesterday. I needed to be at the office at 6am, so I literally had to drag their asses out of the bed. They were sleeping like logs! They are not morning dogs I tell ya. Charlotte was looking at me like I was crazy, the sun wasn’t even up, but I had to take them to work because it would be too early to feed them, and it won’t be good for them to skip a meal. Anyway, they had the opportunity to nap in the car, and continued to sleep when we reached the office. Cayenne wasn’t too fazed by the whole situation, but Charlotte didn’t have appetite to have her breakfast – she didn’t even touch the food. I got worried, took them down for walks (TWICE!), but her appetite came back later in the day.
I felt guilty about waking them up so early, so I took them to the dog park in the evening for some happy time. Turned out we met Pogo, a fellow rat terrier club member, and they had a great time playing with bichons, pinchers, and poodles. We came back at around 8pm, and I cooked some okra for myself, and dozed off watching TV, as usual.
Yesterday was definitely a long day.
