Lunch with Lisa
I had a great lunch and catch up with my friend, Lisa. We haven’t seen each other for quite a while, and it was good to catch up on things. After lunch we visited this bird shop in Redwood City. It was so nice to see all the parrots, there were lots of greencheeks for sale, and we played with a couple of yellow-sideds. The one Lisa was holding was really calm and I think he liked the sound of Lisa’s voice. The one I held was ok at first, then he seemed to get somewhat nervous, and suddenly bit my right index finger and took a chunk of skin out. It sounded painful but at the time it wasn’t. I was more caught by surprise. A little while later the wound started to bleed and I had to wash it out. No harm done.
