So many web apps, so little time

With the advent of AJAX, web 2.0 and the emergence of social websites, there has been a slew of web 2.0 apps on the Internet. Just visit Ajaxian, and there’s at least like one web app a day. So far I’ve tried a few of them, but I just couldn’t keep up. I particularly like Protopage, which is an online desktop where you can designate each page you create as public or private. Doug and I used that page to post stuff that we want to share with each other, like links, notes , etc. The cool thing about it is its versatility. You can literally embed javascript or HTML code, or even a whole website within a widget. Do check it out.

I want to say that I love Flickr. I’ve spent a lot of time on Flickr everyday just viewing all the lovely pictures that people have taken. Flickr Rules! Again, this photo gallery webapp is versatile and flexible – with the Flickr API you can create just about anything with your photos on flickr. Check out FD’s Flickr Toys, you’ll know what I mean.
