Everyone’s got advice to give

Wednesday, March 7th, 2007

So why not get paid for it? I stumbled upon this site called BitWine, where you can create an account, and start charging people for advice using your Skype account. Of course, one has to assume that you are an expert in the field, or at least know a little more than the average joe. Neat idea.

Clover’s Back

Tuesday, March 6th, 2007

My co-worker has been taking care of my Greencheek Clover for the past couple of months while I was away on vacation, and today she brought him back. He was a little wary at first, and I think he might have forgotten about me. But after a while, he warmed-up and right now he’s on my lap, preening his feathers. He even allowed me to scritch his face and head feathers. I love my little man.

Couchville

Tuesday, March 6th, 2007

I came across an interesting site through another blog today, a site called Couchville. It is a simple online TV Guide, but what’s good about it is that you can find out when and where a particular show airs. So for example, I like the Dog Whisperer, but I’m not sure what days and times the episodes air, so I just search for The Dog Whisperer, add it as a favorite, and the page shows a list of upcoming shows – Link to page. I like the way you can click and drag the guide like in google maps.

Some features I would like to see are:
RSS Feeds
Mobile Version
Email a friend
Printer-friendly formats
Send reminders

The Geneva Autoshow showcased the new BMW M3 Concept. It has a V8 engine and a carbon roof. Oh I want one.

Cover Art is Half the Battle Won

Friday, March 2nd, 2007

To me anyway. When I browse around either at a music store, or online on the iTunes Store, I’ll admit that looking at the cover art does make a difference between me clicking on it, or not. If it looks appealing, or interesting, I will be more inclined to explore further.
