Being Bicycle Safe

As I contemplate on starting either a once or twice a week cycle/train to work schedule, I’ve been reading up a lot on bike routes and public transport in the Bay Area. In doing so I came across a few really useful sites.

Bikeforums is a really vibrant community of bicyclists and commuters, and they have a forum specially for cyclists in the NorCal Bay Area. I discovered a couple of new trails from reading the posts. There is a bicycle safety site as well that I think ALL bike commuters should visit. The site is called Bicycle Safe, and it tells you how not to get hit by cars. There were some points made there that I would not have thought about, and definitely an eye-opener.
