Friday:
A nice dinner with family and friends.
Saturday:
Woke up early. Got ready for a drive to Marin County. I gotta admit, living in the Peninsula Bay Area, I somehow got the weird thought that San Francisco is like the final destination and nothing much else exists after you cross the Golden Gate Bridge. We’ve been to the beaches (Stinson Beach, Point Reyes), and my impression has always been of hills, and wilderness. How ignorant was I. We spent last Saturday just being tourists – had lunch at a small coffee shop, tried some Danish food, walked along downtown Sausalito, and then to Tiburon. I really liked how you could get the nice water views, of SF, and the small town atmosphere. If I could I would want to live somewhere in Marin County some day. We ended the day with some grocery shopping at SF Chinatown. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Sunday:
Lazed. Did some grocery shopping, preparing for a BBQ with family and friends in the evening. Had chicken, pork chops, grilled peppers, corn, sweet potatoes, onions, sausages, shrimp – it was a feast!
Monday:
Lazed. Went to IKEA just for fun, do some window shopping.
So that’s how I spent my Memorial Day Weekend. Surprisingly I didn’t even opened the computer. Checking email via phone doesn’t count. hehe. I’m feeling a little homesick now. I miss Rebecca. Spending three whole days with her was great. She did have her tantrum times – one was in the car, she was really tired and wanted to sleep, but the seatbelt was a little tight and she was agitated. We had to stop midway to calm her down. Other than that, she was a blast! She had such great time looking at the pigeons, the boats, and experiencing all the new sights and sounds. It was pretty good, I must say.
